  1. I started having trouble with version 1.0B Trumpet News reader for Windows 
  2. about a month ago.  After doing some deep thinking I remembered that is about 
  3. the same time I started using Eudora.
  4.  
  5. What seems to be happening is if I run Eudora BEFORE I run Trumpet News reader 
  6. I run a good chance of Trumpet causing a general protection fault in 
  7. KRNL386.EXE right after the info box of Trumpet.  If I run Eudora After 
  8. starting the news reader every thing seems fine.
  9.  
  10. Of course one would want to leave Eudora running in the background and not 
  11. have to restart Windows to check out the news groups.
  12.  
  13. Is anyone else having this problem?

  15. Does anyone have any ideas?

  60. Are you saying that your IP address is dynamically assigned?  If so, does your 
  61. hostname at least remain the same and resolve to your currently connected IP 
  62. address?  A user trying to TALK at you must know either the IP address or a 
  63. resolvable hostname for the PC on which Wintalk is running.

  104. That is exactly what I am saying.  Every time that i start a new session of 
  105. Winsock the ip address that my machine uses changes.  It is similar to the 
  106. others, but it is different.  That is why I want to know how one would get in 
  107. touch with me so we could "talk."
